After Tithing Ministries was born out of my desire to help tithers and givers receive the financial increase that God promises in Malachi 3:10.
This leads me to one burning question:
"If God promises financial blessings to tithers, then why are so many tithers struggling financially?"
The conclusion I have arrived at is this:
It's all about the other 90%.
Many tithers fail to be good stewards (managers) of the money they have left over after tithes - the first 10% of all their increase. According to the parable of the talents in Matthew 25, God will not give you more until he sees that you are properly managing what you have now. In short, poor money management trumps tithing.
If you’re not receiving the blessings God promises, it’s not because God is going back on His Word. He is a covenant keeping God who cannot lie. He has no choice but to honor and keep His Word.
If the problem does not lie with God, who does that leave? Take an honest look in the mirror and ask yourself some tough questions. "Am I doing absolutely everything I can do to make the most of the money I have now? Do I waste money? Do I live on a budget? Do I impulse?" God expects you to be faithful with 100% of His money. That's right, it's all His anyway. (Haggai 2:8)
After Tithing Ministries is my attempt to get the word out that many tithers need to stop waiting on God for increase. The reality is that God is waiting on them to first show they know how to properly manage what they already have.
My sincere desire is to provide a site to help tithers and givers do just that - become better managers of the other 90% and as a result, see their financial situation improved.
